It’s Friday, and I’m heading down to PaxU where I will attempt to join a Dragonbane Encounter, talk to game developers, and run an ICRPG one shot. By the end of the day I will be over-peopled and under-caffeinated. These are random thoughts!
- One casualty of my PaxU schedule is my Thursday night session. I just didn’t have enough time to prep for PaxU and set up the next adventure. Kinda bummed but I have…ideas.
- My Monday group is playing 13th Age and I’m playing a gnome bard with a decent wisdom and a high charisma who blunders around getting into messes. People think I’m playing him opposite to his stats but, he’s just used to utilizing his whits to get out of trouble so he doesn’t care.
- I had an excellent time talking to Rico and Simone from Two Little Mice yesterday. They make great games and were a ton of fun.
- Wonderdraft runs so well on my M2 Mac Mini.
- If anyone’s going to PaxU and wants to meet up, use my contact page to reach out!
- Collecting and reading games is a great hobby. Sometime I’ll get to all the ones I already have.
- I’m bummed I can’t fit everything I need for tomorrow into the leather satchel someone got me. It makes me look like a wizard.
- My 13th Age character is a pretty good interrogator, but he’s terrible with undercover work.
- Thanks to a tutorial from Todd Lyons I made my first physical tokens for a game! Thanks Todd!
- Ecclesicon 24 is going to be April 12-14 in Palmyra, NJ. Mark your calendars!
