Allergies and stress are a terrible combination. It’s Monday, and I’ve had coffee. Time to subject folks to this week’s random TTRPG thoughts!
- A wonderful thing happened. A number of non-players in my social circles began sharing news about Ecclesicon. And people are responding!
- TTRPG hot takes are projections of strength. In reality they’re often confessions of insecurity. My recommendation is, “Don’t argue, try to understand what sparked the hot take.”
- Monte Cook Games is fast becoming my go to TTRPG publisher. Cypher System is so easy to run and prep.
- I’m going to enjoy the last arc of my current BFRPG campaign. After that we’ll start Dragonbane and maybe revisit this world a couple decades further down the in game timeline in a couple of years.
- Is point two a hot take? I’m not sure.
- Really, come to Ecclesicon!
- After greed overrode self preservation, I’m down to one character in a Shadowdark funnel.
- I think I prefer running games over sitting at the table. But I do enjoy both aspects of the game and am pleased that I do have opportunities to be on both sides of the screen.
- I’m on a lot of discords. I’m not sure how I feel about this.
- Someone remind me to finish writing “Hometown Harvest” so I can put it up for sale through my patreon. There’s one section I still need to key, and then I need to lay it out.
