It’s a new week, a cold front is moving in, and my head is pounding. My brain is scrambled and every day is a half day until the end of school, but the games go on. These are random TTRPG thoughts.
- I came back to the hobby in 2020. Since then I’ve run 11 different systems, and I think I’ve played in 8 more. I want those numbers to keep going up.
- I converted my discord to a community server today, so now I’m feeling all official. Access to the discord is one of my patreon perks.
- Symbaroum is a pretty cool game that not enough people have played. It does, however, need a second edition that’s a bit better organized.
- Chaosium sent me a review copy of Pendragon’s new edition. This will be my first Chaosium game I’ve ever read so I’m kind of excited. Also, it’s printed on flat paper and has two book ribbons!
- I just got word that my copy of Knave 2e has shipped!
- I need to finish reading Household because it’s fun.
- I really want to run Dark Places & Demogorgons or Kids on Bikes at some point (probably the former…I think). I want to play a Stranger Things scenario so bad.
- I was watching Grimwood Games stream on twitch while writing this and the subject of a playable war goose came into the conversation. So I’m mentioning it here.
- One of the most fun things that came from Ecclesicon continues to be how many people got connected through it. For me, that’s what makes all this TTRPG stuff worth it.
- Speaking of Ecclesicon, the next event will be a “Day of Adventure” on September 28. I’ll be looking for GMs soon! The three day convention will be March 28-30, mark your calendars!
