Random TTRPG Thoughts #33

Today is my first day back to my “normal” schedule after vacation. I’m half-way through my coffee, everyone else is asleep, and my brain’s electrical output is ramping up with spurts and sputters. These are random TTRPG thoughts.

  1. I was able to play a Vulcan last night. Vulcans make it easy to get into a Star Trek feel.
  2. My Basic Fantasy RPG game has been on hiatus for a month. It’ll be nice to ruin those character’s lives again this week.
  3. My first giveaway was a success! Now I need to find a box to ship the book.
  4. I have encountered, for the most part, kind people in the TTRPG space. The downside is it makes the unkind people stand out through contrast.
  5. I’m grateful to the publishers who have given me the opportunity to review their books. That’s something I never want to take for granted.
  6. While high fantasy is not my favorite style of play, friends convinced me DC20 is worth checking out. I picked up the PDF. We shall see.
  7. Our Star Trek adventure last night included a transporter malfunction. The classics are the best.
  8. I may do a stream for Cypher System where people bring on their characters from other systems and we try to remake them in Cypher. That could be interesting.
  9. I must find some time to run Knave 2e soon.
  10. What TTRPG should I purchase next?
