It’s the day after Labor Day, and I’m in the weird no-man’s land between Summer Vacation and school starting. I’ve had coffee, the house is quiet, and my brain is pondering the mysteries of life. That, or it notices shiny things and I just convince myself it’s exploring mysteries of life. These are random TTRPG thoughts.
- My BFRPG campaign is winding down to a conclusion. So if a player misses we’re shifting in our next game. In this case, Dragonbane. I have so much fun running it!
- My Monday group is starting up an Eberon 5e campaign. I’m sitting this one out so I can concentrate on making stuff for The Anywhere Door once it opens up.
- I didn’t get the sabbatical grant I’d applied for and, to be honest, that was a gut punch. I’m still hoping to get some time and maybe pick one of the two conventions I was hoping to attend.
- One table for Ecclesicon: Day of Adventure has filled up! If you’re in the Philly/South Jersey area get your tickets soon!
- Ironbound reached its modest funding goal in less than six hours and has hit his first stretch goal. Check out the campaign for some modern urban fantasy goodness!
- My live streams come in bunches. The next two weeks should be fun, starting with Ron from Philly Area Gaming Expo tonight at 8:30 PM Eastern!
- Despite not getting the grant, I’m still going to find time to work on my system. Right now I’m pondering using both EZD6 and Cypher System for mechanics. Though for the latter I need to re-think my crisis mechanic.
- I’m having a blast setting things up for my first Shadowdark gauntlet! Foundy’s system implementation makes creating 0-level characters so easy! I just wish there was an easy way to export them to PDF!
- I still want to bring Knave 2e to the table sometime soon. I just need to find time.
- I’ve got a couple of “first looks” planned for September I find rather interesting. So stay tuned!
