It’s Tuesday, allergies are raging, and coffee has just been brewed. As I blink away my sleepiness through that sandpaper that has become my eyelids my brain begins to sputter into coherence. These are random TTRPG thoughts.
- This past Sunday Dave Ward and I sat down together (virtually) to create my first character for Irounbound. It’s a fun process, and the Backerkit campaign still has some time for you to jump in!
- My BFRPG campaign’s final crawl is set up, I just need to create overland obstacles for the party with which they’ll have to contend.
- I had a blast interviewing Luke Stratton and Dave Ward last week!
- I’ve got a little over two weeks to finish prep for my Shadowdark Gauntlet for Ecclesicon: Day of Adventure!
- I’ve begun reading Pendragon! The layout is stellar, and the world-background is detailed. I have yet to reach the mechanics chapter.
- The Runehammer grand opening was a blast! I picked up the books I’ve been waiting to purchase there, took some video, and even got recognized by a viewer! If you’re in the area, go check it out!
- A friend of mine found the B/X rulebooks for sale and purchased them on my behalf. Now I need to remember to set up Venmo to send him the money. Yah, I’m old. But I’ve got the B/X rulebooks!
- The Electric State showed up at my house on Saturday, well before the crowdfunding campaign’s expected delivery date. It…calls me.
- I used to think I’d run out of material for my channel. I’m rather fond of that naive middle-aged doofus.
- A shout out to John Fredericks for creating some new comic art for my DM Tales strips. Check out Sharp Mountain Games!
